CHARLES H. GRODNIK was admitted to the Indiana Bar in 1970. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School. His law practice primarily involves representing small businesses in their corporate, collection, real estate and zoning matters, civil mediation, as well as commercial litigation. Mr. Grodnik also represents clients in family law and personal injury matters. Mr. Grodnik is very active in the Michiana community as a member of the Elkhart Rotary Club and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Broadway Theater League in South Bend. Since 1992, Mr. Grodnik is in his 15th year as the Judge of the Elkhart City Court. He is a certified civil mediator and is a member of the American Trial Lawyers' Association. He is past president of the Elkhart City Bar Association.
J. RICHARD RANSEL was admitted to the Indiana Bar in 1974. He is a graduate of Miami University of Ohio and the University of Notre Dame Law School. He practices principally in the areas of creditors' rights, ...bankruptcy, and the representation of financial institutions. From 1980 to 1983, he was an adjunct professor at the University of Notre Dame Law School, teaching creditors' rights and ...bankruptcy. He serves as a member of the panel of private trustees for the United States Bankruptcy Court in South Bend. He has recently been chosen to speak at two national seminars sponsored by the Bureau of National Affairs on bankruptcy law. Mr. Ransel has been honored by being listed in every edition of The Best Lawyers in America since 1993.
GLENN L. DUNCAN was admitted to the Indiana Bar in 1975. He graduated from Indiana University Law School cum laude in 1975. Mr. Duncan's areas of practice include corporate law, labor law, estate planning, probate administration, and commercial litigation. He is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association and serves on the board of directors of its Corporate Law Section. He is also a member of the American Bar Association. Mr. Duncan serves as the Bristol Town Attorney and Osolo Township Attorney, as well as being an elected member and president of the Board of Trustees of the Elkhart Community School Corporation, a member of the Elkhart City/County Plan Commission, and a member and past president of the Elkhart County Estate Planning Council.
JAMES R. BYRON was admitted to the Indiana Bar in 1975. He graduated from Purdue University with distinction and Indiana University School of Law magna cum laude and Order of the Coif. He is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association and the Indiana Trial Lawyers' Association. In his general practice, he represents both individuals and businesses, spending most of his time in litigation cases as well as estate planning and estate administration.
STEVEN L. HOSTETLER graduated magna cum laude from Olivet Nazarene University in 1980 and the Indiana University Law School at Bloomington cum laude in 1983. He has developed an extensive practice representing small businesses and financial institutions. He also practices in the areas of bankruptcy, creditors' rights, real estate, and general corporate law. He is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association and the St. Joseph County Bar Association. He served as Chairman of the Grievance Committee of the St. Joseph County Bar Association from 1988 through 1993. He has lectured frequently on matters, involving real estate, creditors' rights, bankruptcy, and collections, and at seminars conducted by the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum. He has also authored numerous articles and commentaries, which have appeared in Res Gestae, the official publication of the Indiana State Bar Association, and the Indiana Business Journal. Mr. Hostetler has been honored by being listed in every edition of The Best Lawyers in America since 1993. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Osceola Little League and is Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Mishawaka Salvation Army. His office is at the Mishawaka location.
